What makes our orchestra instruments different from others you find online? Every one is made by craftsmen and women who understand how much a quality instrument matters to the success of a beginning musician. They are made using known techniques and materials such as:
- Ebony Fingerboard, pegs, and chinrest. A hard wood, durable under pressure.
- Spruce Hand-carved top. Improves resonance and warmth in tone.
- Maple Back, sides, and neck. Provides structure and helps the instrument project its sound.

Sizing
The right size makes all the difference
Many students aren't ready for a full-size instrument right when they're getting started. In fact, being on the wrong size can make learning a challenge and lead some students to quit. That's why all string instruments are made in fractional sizes.
A student might start on a ½-size violin, then move up to a ¾ and eventually a full size as they grow. We make that transition as easy as possible on our Rent-to-Own program, because the right size guarantees your student the best experience they can have.
